Former Niles Booster President Gets Probation in Theft

The former president of the Niles Frontliners Club was sentenced Thursday to five months probation in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

James Mullen of Girard pleaded guilty to theft charges in January. Prosecutors said he stole more than $21,000 from the organization, which Mullen did pay back.?

The Frontliners Club helps fund activities in the Niles schools.
